Bovair Testing-Doorstep Deliveries would like to reassure our customers that the milk we deliver, which is supplied by Cotteswold Dairy, is NOT a part of Arla Foods’ trial of adding the controversial additive, bovaer, to cow feed.
While Cotteswold Dairy is “committed to reducing carbon emissions”, in an official statement it said it will not be using bovaer and is focused on producing milk that is “safe and farmed with care”.
“We are pleased to be working with our farmers to reduce carbon emissions. The collaboration with industry professionals is important as we look at efficiently reducing our carbon footprint. Through discussion groups the farmers are able to look at areas of their business that could benefit. However this is not by feeding bovaer.
“Cotteswold Dairy’s milk is gently pasteurised to keep its high quality and taste for you to enjoy and the Red Tractor Accreditation that ourselves and all of our farmers have, means it is safe and farmed with care.”
